I’ve been trying to live a healthy lifestyle for a while now and one of my goals is to tone up and get fit. Eating less meat seems like the wrong idea if you are tiring to tone up. but because I grew up with meat being in most meals it won’t be a big deal to take it out of some of my meals. Besides I can get protein in other forms.
The point of this post is to share a meal that I like and would help me and maybe others on their health and fitness journey. I made black bean pasta with peppers and onions.
I really like the spinach and semolina fettuccine noodles it adds flavor and it didn’t take a lot of time to cook them. I am all about quick meals and this meal is about 20 to 30 minutes long. This is something I could probably eat every day and maybe just eat as a soup. Get rid of the pasta and eat the bean sauce, right? I also feel like you can substitute a lot of the vegetables for other options. maybe instead of the peppers we add carrots or corn.
Try it and tell me what you think. I would love to try and make more healthy or vegetarian dishes. I could do a video trying to make meals I’ve never made before.
